Welcome

My psychotherapy practice is dedicated to the health and well-being of individuals, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, family of origin conflicts, interpersonal difficulties, and other mental health issues that can develop in the face of life stressors.

It’s not uncommon to experience emotional distress as a result of facing developmental transitions throughout our lives. Challenges can include struggles within our own families of origin (including relationships with a sibling, parent, grandparent or other family member), beginning college/a new career, the birth of a child, marital conflict, illness, relocation, and loss and bereavement.  How we respond is unique to each of us and at times it can be helpful to have the support of a therapist to make sense of it all and to assist you in returning to living the life you want to live.

Seeking therapy shows personal strength and motivation and my professional training allows me to help you gain a greater understanding of yourself by examining behaviors, identifying interpersonal difficulties, and learning more effective communication strategies and behaviors to improve relationships.  This takes place in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you’re free to explore the issues that are important to you.
